  • Objectives
    This course is part of a suite of new, innovative programmes that are designed in conjunction with leading industrialists, providing themes of knowledge management, sustainability and leadership. The Business Management course equips graduates with key business skills and the ability to fulfil their potential within multinational organisations. It provides in-depth knowledge of all stages in the Business Management process, including conceptualisation, planning and forecasting, operations, financial and risk management, marketing and economic, social and strategic evaluation. This course develops an appreciation of the Business Management environment through the study of economics, law, marketing and finance. Integral to the course is the development of decision-making skills from the operational to the strategic levels. Transferable skills that are necessary for a career in Business Management are developed through engagement with real life business issues, enabling the study of key aspects of management and leadership.
  • Entry requirements
    You should have 160 to 200 points, including at least 140 from two or more A levels. English Language and Mathematics GCSE at grade C or above are also required. These requirements may be varied in individual cases. We consider people from a wide range of academic backgrounds.

    Course structure

    You will take 8 core modules in your first year. In the second and third years, in addition to 5 core modules, you will have the opportunity to focus on particular aspects of business management by taking optional modules, enabling you to design a programme of study best suited to your own interest and career aspirations.
