    Course Structure

    The first two years will provide a strong business and marketing background through the study of the principles and concepts of marketing together with marketing communications, market research and consumer behaviour. In addition you will explore the opportunities presented by multimedia and the internet through a number of specialist modules.

    An optional 48-week paid placement in the third year offers the opportunity to put your new knowledge base and skills into practice in the real world. This type of experience is valued greatly by employers and helps you to achieve better results in your final year.

    The final year gives you the flexibility to choose from a range of optional marketing or management subjects including whilst furthering your knowledge in key management areas. Subject areas include strategic marketing planning; direct interactive marketing; e-marketing information systems and digital marketing and communications.

    Career Opportunities

    Management and Marketing graduates have an excellent employability record taking up roles in a wide range of general management positions and marketing roles in a wide variety of sectors and both large and small organisations. This could include roles such as product or brand management, marketing communications management or general marketing management positions.
