• Objectives
  This degree has been developed in response to an increasingly globalised world in which traditional boundaries are being replaced by a more dynamic international political and legal environment. It addresses areas such as the development of international legal regimes, international conflict and migration, human rights and the idea of global justice and issues such as global environmental change, international crime and terrorism. It combines a grounding in the evolution and practice of international law with a strong theoretical grasp of the contemporary global environment. We have one the largest integrated Law and International Relations Departments in the UK. Our excellent resources include staff with considerable expertise and state-of-the-art teaching facilities.
• Entry requirements
  You should have at least 200 points, including 160 points from two or more A-levels. English Language GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent) is also required. These requirements may be varied in individual cases. Applications are welcome from mature students who have passed appropriate Access or other preparatory courses or have appropriate work experience. We also welcome mature students without formal qualifications who are able to demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment, and the ability to benefit from higher education.
