    The course has been specifically designed to provide a top-up qualification for students who have already attained London Metropolitan Universitys Foundation Degree in Journalism at Lambeth College. The aim is to offer further, more academically-orientated study towards a full Honours degree that will build on and extend your previously acquired knowledge and skills. The course teams close links with journalists and industry practitioners, and our central London location are key benefits. There are extensive and appropriate media and IT facilities on the North campus.

    Course structure

    You study eight modules at level 3. You will further develop your skills in problem identification and analysis through a two-module project/dissertation on an approved topic, supervised by a practising journalist. You will also study six taught modules, mainly from a range of options in three strands of study:

        * Mass Communications

        * Digital Media, Digital Aesthetics
        * Ethnicity, Racism and Communications
        * Place and Writing
        * Scriptwriting
        * Autobiography
        * Screenwriting
