    Course description

    This unique programme provides students with a practical and theoretical knowledge of biomedical research and techniques pertinent to Egyptology and related disciplines. Typical compulsory course units include Egyptology; Human Imaging; Tissue Preparation and Microscopy; Biomedical and Forensic Techniques; Workplace Communication Skills. Optional course units include Egyptology; Biomedical Theory and Techniques.

    Progression and assessment

    Assessment is through written examination, student presentations, written assignments, practical classes and a research project dissertation.
