  • Objectives
    Ideal preparation for anyone wishing to enter the heritage industries, this vocational and practical course will enable you to carry out restoration and conservation work. It also gives you an understanding of passive conservation such as environmental control. The course team maintains close links with the conservation profession, and a particular feature is the placement opportunity. Currently, live projects include partnerships with English Heritage and The World Monument Fund at Strawberry Hill House.
  • Entry requirements
    You should have at least 160 points from two A-levels/ A2/Vocational awards in addition to a grade C minimum pass at GCSE Science, or BTEC National Diploma or Certificate in a relevant subject. Mature students with none of the above qualifications may be considered following interview, where they have demonstrated their ability to be successful in the course.
