  • Objectives
    Sociological investigation may encompass wide areas of human experience such as: relationships between men and women, patterns of livelihood, family and household formations, popular cultures, participation in political processes, social movements, the formulation of identity, race, ethnicity and gender, changing sexual behaviours, relationships between the powerful and powerless in society. Criminological enquiry includes the examination of popular conceptions of crime in the media.
  • Entry requirements
    Entry Requirements At least 240-260 tariff points including two 6-unit awards or one 12-unit award at CD. Applicants studying BTEC National Diploma should acheive 200 points or MMM. You must normally have achieved GCSE passes at grade C or above in Mathematics and English or equivalent. Applicants with alternative qualifications may wish to contact us for individual advice.
