    This short, highly practical beginners course covers the following routines up to Trial Balance stage:

    • Setting up customer and supplier accounts
    • Modifying the Chart of Accounts to remove unnecessary accounts.
    • Posting Purchase Invoices and Credit Notes
    • Posting Sales Invoices and Sales Credit Notes
    • Bank Receipts and Payments
    • Petty Cash
    • Correcting any posting errors
    • Producing a Trial Balance

    By the end of the course, the student will have sufficient skills to take up any Sage Line 50 book keeping job in any company.

    The Sage course is tutor led and classroom based.  We do NOT use CD's or internet based material.  All of our Sage Courses are taught by a Qualified Accountant with excellent communication and training skills.

    The student will be provided with a course manual and a certificate on completion.

    PLEASE NOTE:  There is no requirement for the student to have any prior book keeping knowledge as Sage Line 50 will handle the double entry automatically.  As long as postings are made in the correct screens, Sage will handle the rest.
