    Entry Requirements A degree in electrical and/or electronic engineering with a 2.2 grade or equivalent. Where English is not the first language, a language qualification is required, such as IELTS scoring 6.0. Students without a first degree but with professional and vocational experience (e.g. Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status) may be considered subject to demonstrating the potential to succeed

  • Course description
    This programme extends the technical knowledge acquired on an undergraduate course in electrical and electronic engineering. Though not a specialist Master's degree, the variety of options provides an opportunity to tailor the programme to meet personal needs.

    The programme provides a broad subject specific curriculum with specialism achieved through the major project. Many of the projects reflect the key research interests of the school, such as electronic manufacturing and control and instrumentation.

    Many projects are derived from our industrial links, and a number are proposed by students, reflecting their own personal interests or experience.
