  • Entry requirements
The MA in English Literature is ideal for students who are keen to begin postgraduate study, but are not yet ready to commit to one specific area or period. Your four 'taught' modules are chosen from the full range of those offered on the department's other MA programmes, leaving you free to build an electric mix of options, or a 'pathway' tracking a particular theme across a wide cultural span: for example women's writing, poetry, the family, or modern fiction. The programme also gives you full training in Research Methods and the chance to write a dissertation on any subject of your choice.
