  • Entry requirements
    You should have an Honours degree or equivalent in a subject containing some computing content. In addition to degrees in the sciences and engineering, subjects such as geography, economics and business studies would be suitable. For those with extensive experience of working in business and industry, the maturity of approach gained may outweigh gaps in formal academic experience. You must show competence in both written and spoken English equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above for international students.

This course addresses the growing need for high quality information at all levels of the organization. Because of several well–publicized disasters, there is increasing concern about the quality of this data. This has seen new high–end software being developed and the introduction of courses in universities around the world. This new MSc was designed as part of this worldwide movement. It is aimed at staff involved in monitoring data quality or maintaining data warehouses and at managers wanting to understand problems and solutions in information quality.
