  • Objectives
Today the business world is at a crossroad: is the world heading for further integration through globalisation or are we returning to increased localisation? Either way, businesses ignore trends in the environment at their peril. A comprehensive understanding of the issues that are beyond national boundaries has become an essential intellectual asset in all types of business, particularly within international business and the financial sector. The MA International Business and Banking allows you to acquire an understanding of how the globalisation process has impacted not only on international businesses in general, but also on the operation of the banking and capital markets. The greater integration of capital markets poses important and strategic challenges that the course addresses by introducing you to the latest theoretical and empirical debates in the field.
