  • Objectives
This unique course is run in conjunction with ESCEM Poitiers, School of Business and Management, one of the Ecole Superieur business schools in France. The course involves studying in both the UK and in Poitiers, and successful completion will give you two Masters degrees - one from London Metropolitan University and also one from ESCEM Poitiers. This unusual dual award gives you an increased chance of employment in today's global marketing field, wherever you wish to work. The course is taught in English in both France and the UK, so it is not necessary to be fluent in French to undertake the programme. It gives you the chance to study marketing communications in an international context, taught from two different perspectives. It also aims to provide you with an understanding of the cultural differences in this field between the UK and France, giving you the skills to research and evaluate all aspects of the marketing mix from an international perspective, from branding, advertising and public relations to developing communications strategies. Also making the course distinct among other postgraduate courses of this nature is the three-month marketing placement, which can be carried out in either London or Poitiers, giving you a valuable opportunity to gain work experience that also counts as part of your degree.
  • Entry requirements
The minimum entry requirement will normally be a lower second class Honours degree in a business or marketing-related subject or equivalent. Applicants will also be considered who can demonstrate substantial relevant work experience.
