    Alternative entry route This course aims to provide students with an alternative route to maths degree courses in the School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, and to the BSc Actuarial Science degree course in Cass Business School.     Course overview

    This course is designed to provide an entry route to the BSc in Mathematical Science or Actuarial Science for those who do not meet the normal requirements. Following successful completion of a preparatory year of study at the University and at nearby Westminster Kingsway College, you proceed to the first year of the BSc course at the University.

    Course content

    During the foundation year, you study mathematics, statistics and probability, computing and logic, economics and computational mathematics. Students also learn communication and study skills.

    Teaching
