    Module details

    The programme consists of eight compulsory course units:

    -General and Introductory Bacteriology
    -Antibiotics and Bacterial Genetics
    -Molecular Microbiology and Mycology
    -Systematic Bacteriology I and II
    -General and Molecular Virology
    -Diagnostic and Clinical Virology
    -Laboratory Management and Research Methods

    Masters students will also complete a three-month research project and dissertation.

    The MSc programme is accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Scientists (IBMS) and recognised towards Membership of the Royal College of Pathologists (MRCPath).
