Comments about MSc Control and Systems Engineering - At the institution - Sheffield - South Yorkshire

  • Objectives
Designed to meet the requirements of those already working in industry. We recognise that attendance by delegates will be dependent on industry priorities, and this is reflected in the flexible time-scale for the course. Delegates will study existing Masters-level modules alongside full-time students. These modules are offered as a series of free-standing short courses for Continuing Professional Development (CPD), or, by undertaking the assessment, successful delegates will be awarded M-level credit which could contribute to the award of a Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma or an MSc.

    MSc Control and Systems Engineering

This programme offers flexibility and choice in mode of study and payment plan and provides an opportunity for individuals who are in employment or on a career break to gain a Postgraduate Certificate (60 credits), Postgraduate Diploma (120 credits), or an MSc (180 credits) in Control and Systems Engineering

Students have a maximum of five years to earn up to 180 credits. The taught modules run in 1 or 2 week blocks (depending on their credit value), during which full-time attendance at lectures and tutorials is necessary.
