    This programme is oriented towards a developing country context and is designed for the needs of economists within central banks and ministries of finance in developing countries or within international organisations, aid agencies or financial institutions having links with developing countries.

    You take four core courses

        * International macroeconomics and policy
        * International finance and money
        * Money, finance and growth
        * Financial institutions and markets in developing countries.

    Plus two options and a dissertation. The list of options includes:

        * IMF, World Bank and economic growth
        * International trade
        * Globalisation, trade and economic development
        * Project planning, appraisal and implementation
        * Economic appraisal of development projects
        * Quantitative methods for planning Ð forecasting
        * Quantitative methods for planning Ð optimal decision-making
        * Basic econometrics
        * Advanced econometrics
        * International corporate finance
        * International banking and financial markets
        * Financial sector stability and growth
        * Other MSc options subject to approval.
