  • Objectives
Previous students have come from a variety of nursing specialities including respiratory nursing, coronary care, paediatrics as well as mental health and midwifery. It is a traditionally structured Masters course aimed at knowledge and practice development through the understanding of the theoretical underpinnings of care strategies. To enable you to focus on you’re own specialist practice, all units of study and assignments are designed to draw on your own experiences and consider these through reflective practice and application of theory. The course offers flexibility by developing your own subject speciality and knowledge and skills for practice.
  • Entry requirements
The course will suit nurses interested in demonstrating their professional development and showing how they can develop within their professional field. Students need to be well motivated, adaptable and flexible in planning their programme, and self-dependent in time and work load management.
