    How You Will Be Taught

Study involves a structured introductory programme of lectures, seminars and rehearsal of procedures in the clinical skills laboratory, designed to familiarise students with the basis and approach to later parts of the course. In addition, students undertake an integrated programme of theoretical, clinical and laboratory teaching.

The scientific basis for the planning and delivery of surgical dental care is examined and a supervised piece of research work undertaken. Students are required to demonstrate a structured and logical approach to problem solving within the broad area of oral surgery.
