    Core modules:

    -Psychology, the Legal System and Criminology
    -Psychology of Criminal Behaviour
    -Research Methods in Forensic Psychology
    -Dissertation (MSc students only)

    Option modules (three from the following):

    -Psychology and Investigation
    -Psychology and the Courtroom
    -Management and Treatment of Offenders
    -Forensic Linguistics

    Depending on options chosen and dissertation topic named routes are available comprising:

    -MSc Forensic and Legal Psychology (Judicial)
    -MSc Forensic and Legal Psychology (Investigation)
    -MSc Forensic and Legal Psychology (Forensic Linguistics)

    Teaching and assessment methods
    Teaching is through specially prepared written course materials and other directed reading. There are also annual optional short (e.g. two day) courses at Leicester. Each module is assessed separately by written
    assignments and, for MSc students, a final dissertation.
