    Content details
    This intensive course is for people who are currently studying construction at CONEL or are not working in the plumbing industry or unemployed. It includes units such as health and safety, key principles, common plumbing processes, cold water systems, above ground discharge pipework, central heating system pipe work, electrical supply and earth continuity systems.

    How is the course taught
    The learning programme includes workshop practical plumbing skills training and practical assessment, plumbing theory tuition and plumbing theory assessment, key skills tuition including numeracy, literacy and ICT.

    Assessment
    All assessments will be carried out at CONEL.

    Course leads to
    Year two of the same qualification then onto the Technical Certificate City & Guilds 6129-3 Plumbing Level 3 or NVQ Level 2, depending on your Employment Status.
