    Course Description:

    This programme introduces students to the development of political theory as a discipline and to the different approaches that have arisen in analysing issues such as multiculturalism, human rights and distributive justice.

    Assessment is by seminar presentations, book reviews, assessed essays and a dissertation of not more than 20,000 words.

        * The School of European Studies has become the home of the internationally renowned Collingwood and British Idealism Centre, which carries an international journal and hosts a biennial conference.
