You will need to be at least 19 years of age with GCSE grade C or above in maths and English and science or achieve the equivalent number of LOCN credits in these subjects. A commitment to working with children, plus reliability, punctuality and initiative are essential.
Access to Teaching LOCN Level 3
This course is for students wishing to embark upon a teaching career within a school environment, within the primary age group. The course introduces you to science, computer literacy, maths, English, study skills and teaching studies. During the programme you will be guided through the UCAS process, and you will undertake a work placement within a primary school.
