ObjectivesThe French component in this joint honours programme offers the possibility of study across the whole range of French and Francophone language, literature and culture, from the Middle Ages to the present day, and includes a year of study abroad. This can be combined on the Classics side with either the intensive study of Latin and/or ancient Greek language and literature, or a more broadly-based approach to Greek and Roman culture as a whole, with a smaller (but still indispensable) element of language work.
