ObjectivesThe American Studies programme at King's provides one of the most versatile and academically rich range of possibilities for the study of the culture, society and the arts of the United States and the Americas in the whole of Britain. Courses in Film Studies will provide you with the conceptual tools for understanding critically how society is mediated by cinematic and electronic images, and to give a background for careers in the media arts and related activities.
