    Programme

    A Joint Honours Degree is a combination of two different subjects: students study 50% of one subject and 50% of another. Finance can be combined with Business.

    Initially, the course focuses on the basic knowledge and skills of financial and management accounting, complemented by the theoretical study of economics, practical computer applications and business skills for accountants. In Year Two, financial and management accounting skills are developed further and students acquire knowledge of financial management and research techniques. In the final year, students study business finance and optional modules such as Forensic Accounting, Accounting Ethics and Taxation.
