BA German Studies

  • Objectives Our courses aim to improve your written and oral proficiency and your presentation and communication skills, as well as extending your academic knowledge. The degree structure is very flexible, and allows you to pursue your interests and develop your strong points in an informal and stimulating environment.
  • Practical experience The third year is spent abroad, usually as a student at a university, as a language assistant in a school, or on a work placement approved by the department
  • Entry requirements -GCE/VCE A Levels - BBC -Two GCE A Levels plus two GCE AS Levels - BB+CC -Scottish Highers - AABB -Irish Leaving Cert. - ABBBB -BTEC Level N - 2 Distinctions and 1 Merit -International Baccalaureate - 30-32 points -Core Requirements - Grade B in GCE A level German
