BSc Environmental Science

  • Objectives The Environmental Science courses are based on a study of the aspects of the biological, ecological and physical sciences. These are particularly important for an understanding of the natural environment, and include field courses both in the UK and overseas. We offer a three-year BSc Honours course and a four-year MEnvSci, which adds an extra year for advanced research training. The courses are structured to provide a generic programme and several specialist routes. You can slant your degree towards areas of particular interest in global change, ecology and hydrology, or biology in the environment.
  • Entry requirements -GCE/VCE A levels - BBB-BBC -BTEC National Diploma - 1 Distinction and 2 Merits or 2 Distinctions and 1 Merit -Two GCE A Levels plus two GCE AS Levels - BB+BB -Scottish Highers - AABB -Irish Leaving Cert. - ABBBB -International Baccalaureate - 32 points -Core Requirements - 2 science subjects at GCE A Level or VCE A Level
