BSc Psychology

  • Objectives Our degree programmes are designed to provide a sound core knowledge of psychology and how it applies to different aspects of the human condition such as crime, mental health, child development, or education. Whether you are interested in a career in psychology or in gaining knowledge which will equip you with the variety of skills needed in today's graduate job market, Psychology is for you. Our tutors are a friendly team with backgrounds in research and applied psychology. They are dedicated to your development, to teaching, and to academic excellence.
  • Entry requirements Entry requirements You will need three GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), including English Language and Maths, plus one of the following: * 200 points for the Specialist degree and 160 points for the Joint Honours degree (including a minimum of two A2 Levels or a 12 unit AVCE or a combination) or * 200 points for the Specialist degree and 160 points for the Joint Honours degree from BTEC National Diploma/Certificate or * Equivalent Scottish, Irish, Welsh or overseas qualifications or * An equivalent qualification to those listed above (eg Access to Higher Education Certificate, International Baccalaureate)
