Course descriptionGeneral information
This course is for beginners and for students who know a few phrases. Tutor: Kelvin Clarke.
Course content
All four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) will be practised. Topics covered are negotiated with the students from the following list:
* Personal details including alphabet, numbers and jobs
* Talking about families
* Directions including geographical information
* Ordering food in a restaurant
* Shopping for food and/or souvenirs
* Booking into a hotel
* Telephone skills
* Buying a railway ticket
* Signs and notices
* Making appointments including telling the time
* Weather
