This course will give you basic skills in Engineering. It can lead to further study on the BTEC First Diploma In Electronics or provide you with a certificate that can gain you entry to work.
What does it include?
There are eight units to complete:
* Starting work in Engineering
* Working in Engineering
* Developing skills in Engineering
* Personal Effectiveness
* Financial management
* Planning and making a product
* Assembly projects
* PC maintenance and fault finding
What do I need to get onto it?
You need to have an interest in Engineering and a minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade E or above in Maths, English and Science/Technology. All applicants will be interviewed.
