Course - CACHE QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s & Young People’s Workforce
Course descriptionThis course is for those in employment in a child care and education setting, or those with a relevant Level 2 qualification and extensive experience; it will allow you to progress into a supervisory role. Full details of the content of this qualification are still under discussion at the time of writing but it is expected to be equivalent to 1 ‘A’ level. This qualification will help you in gaining employment caring for children in settings such as nurseries, crèches, pre schools and playgroups, Children’s centres and schools. You will also complete a First Aid for Early years Certificate, required by OFSTED as well as qualifications in English, Maths and ICT After 2 years employment in a Level 3 post you can then progress onto the Foundation Degree in Early Years. Full time students: will need to be in a work experience placement where they are able to complete supervisory tasks for 2 days every week.
