  • Entry requirements Who is this course for?
    For people aged 18-24 (you must complete the programme before your 25th birthday). The programme is for people who want to learn while they work and who want to achieve a qualification recognised by the industry.

    What do I need to get on the course?
    # A sound general education which includes GCSE English and Maths.
    # Some success in studying at level 2 in addition to the above
    # A record of good attendance and punctuality
    # Exceptional motivation to gain one of these sought after apprenticeships
    # A track record of giving up time to be involved in activity/work in one or more of the creative and cultural industries
  • Academic title Nationally recognized qualifications: Certificate in Creative and Cultural Practice
    National Award in either Music Business or Live Events and Promotion or Community Arts Management
    Key Skills qualification in Communication, Application of Number and ICT at level 2
  • Course description What will I study?
    You will be an apprentice with an employer. The programme will help you develop your skills at work. The first term (September-December) you will be full time in college studying an access to apprenticeship course, successful completion of this is necessary to progress onto your paid employment and apprenticeship. Once in employment you will attend college one day a week to study for the certificate in creative and cultural practice and to develop and gain your key skills and you will be assessed at work for your national award.

    How do I get on the course?

    Entry on to this apprenticeship programme is very competitive and unless you are being sponsored by your existing employer you will be interviewed for a place on the programme and for a job in the industry, subject to a job becoming available. You will be paid by your employer a minimum of £100 per week.

    It is important to remember when applying for an apprenticeship you are applying for a job and achievement of the apprenticeships is dependant on successful employment
