What does it include?
Course content can vary according to the needs of the trainees, but the course will include some/all of the following:
-How PCs work: motherboards, power supplies
-Processors, Hard drives: memory - installing & upgrading
-Installing Video, modem, network & sound cards
-Fault finding troubleshooting
-Connecting to printers
-Floppy drives and CD ROM – installing
-Loading & running with DOS, Windows 3.11 and Windows 95/7
-Networking PCs - loading an operating system (NETBUI, Windows NT)
A College certificate is issued on successful completion of this course.
