Course - Insight into Company Law and Translation of Corporate Documents from Russian to English
Course descriptionThis course offers you two courses in one and it is a unique opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge of Company Law and to apply this knowledge by translating relevant texts under the supervision of an experienced legal translator educated in English Law with electives in Acquisitions, Commercial Law and Employment.
Day 1 you will discuss legal forms of business, incorporation of companies and their constitution and governing bodies. You will familiarise yourselves with corporate documents including Memorandum and Articles of Association, board minutes, Sale and Purchase agreements, Power of Attorney and other relevant documents.
Days 2-5 are devoted to the discussion of your translations of company incorporation documents and various agreements. It is fully supervised by a legal translator.
