    As a UK Open Learning student you will have your very own personal tutor for the duration of the course helping you with your course work and with any questions you may have. This will last for 12 months from the day you receive the course. To complete this course it will take in the region of 100 study hours which can be spread over a 12 month period to suit the student.

    We send you the complete course by courier and you complete a series of assignments which you e-mail or post to a tutor for marking.

    No, there is no specific word count but you have to prove to the tutor that you have fully understood the question. One sentence answers will not be accepted, they will be sent back to you and your tutor will ask you to resubmit them.

    Is there an exam at the end of the course?
