  • Course description Graduate Certificate: complete modules worth 60 credits.

    Graduate Diploma: complete modules worth 60 credits, plus an independent geographical study (worth 60 credits), to a total of 120 credits.

    Modules are chosen from:

    -Applied Hydrology (15 credits)
    -Coastal Processes and Management (30 credits)
    -Environmental Modelling (15 credits)
    -Experimental Geomorphology (15 credits)
    -Principles of Geographic Information Systems (30 credits)
    -Remote Sensing and Image Processing (15 credits).

    Teaching
    Teaching methods are wide-ranging. Depending on the options you choose, you may participate in fieldwork, laboratory practical classes, computer-based analysis, seminars, group work and lectures.

    Assessment
    A combination of unseen examinations and coursework.
