MEd English Language Teaching

  • Academic title MEd English Language Teaching
  • Course description MEd: 12 months full-time; 72 months (maximum) part-time

This programme is for mid-career professionals in English language teaching. The programme covers contemporary issues in education and central concerns of English language teaching. The emphasis is on exploring how theory relates to practice, drawing on students' teaching contexts. As a result, you should be able to take a broader view of how classroom activity is related to teacher training, programme design and management decisions.

The dissertation provides the opportunity to investigate further an issue that is relevant to the individual's professional development and teaching context.
