  • Objectives Impart core knowledge of nutritional science Provide a knowledge and understanding of human nutrition beyond that offered at undergraduate level Develop research skills and techniques (MMedSci only) Provide a learning environment that is informed by the academic/research background and professional experience of the staff Encourage critical interpretation of diet and health scientific literature Cultivate good communication and presentation skills Develop professional competency to practise as a nutritionist Enable you to develop skills to enter a broad range of occupations, including academic research, food industry, health promotion, sports nutrition and emergency and developmental work overseas
  • Entry requirements Entry requirements A second class Honours Degree in a science based subject. We also accept graduates from other disciplines who have an upper second class degree or better, and who have good science A levels. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. A minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (with at least 5 in each component) or TOEFL 575 (with 4.5 in TWE).
