  • Course description A participative teaching approach is used, which builds upon the experience of students and which allows for flexibility in response to their particular areas of interest.

    The programme consists of the following taught courses:

        * Principles and theories of adult and continuing education
        * Psychology of adult learning
        * International issues in adult and continuing education
        * Theory of educational research
        * Methods of educational research
        * One specialist option from a range which includes Popular education in Latin America and New technology and lifelong learning.

    Plus a research dissertation.
