The department places a strong emphasis on the central role that design takes in both innovation and in the integration of the engineering disciplines. This programme offers exposure to this philosophy whilst simultaneously enabling you to broaden and/or deepen your knowledge of certain engineering disciplines, which have largely been chosen on the basis of the research strengths of the department.
Content
The programme is split into three semesters:
Semester 1
* Innovative engineering design (compulsory) plus options agreed with your adviser.
Semester 2
* Integrated engineering design (compulsory) plus options agreed with your adviser.
Semester 3
* Project - the project subjects will be closely allied with the research interests of the department.
