Our aim is to ensure you can achieve success on this masters course, but please contact us if you wish to discuss your own concerns.

    Through accreditation of prior learning (APL), you may be able to claim entry with credit or exemptions based on your existing qualifications, knowledge and experience.

    If your first language is not English you must normally produce evidence of competence in English such as a TOEFL test minimum mark, paper-based 550, computer-based 213, internet-based 79 or an IELTS score of 6.0.

    On this course you increase your knowledge and understanding of the international tourism industry and management issues by

    • studying the political, social and economic influences
    • exploring areas such as government tourism policy and planning, marketing and consumer behaviour

    You study tourism development and explore the link between various elements of diverse tourism environments, such as the different social, environment and political impacts of tourism development in different countries. You also examine the increasingly global reach tourism in tourism and globalisation.
