    This programme is designed for those intending to pursue careers in this specialist area of civil and structural engineering, in design consultancies and elsewhere. It is also suitable for those intending to transfer from other engineering disciplines.

    Content

        * Structural concrete
        * Stability
        * Computational modelling
        * Plates and shells
        * Plastic methods
        * Earthquake engineering
        * Structural dynamics.

    MSc students undertake an additional individual project.

    This programme is taught jointly with the University of Edinburgh.
