Taught by staff from across the world, all of whom are current practitioners, the course covers a range of disciplines and methods. Both staff and students contribute to an energetic, supportive and ambitious postgraduate community.

Structure
The course consists of a programme of individual and group tutorials, seminars and workshops. Within the teaching, emphasis is placed on development, experimentation and the critical discussion of your ideas with tutors and peers. It will introduce you to aspects of professional practice and to further study.
The course is delivered in two phases:
Phase 1: Analysis and Development: Development of concepts and relevant skills.
Phase 2: Consolidation and Realisation: Realisation of practice & research intentions.
These phases consist of two consecutive practice units with a critical and professional studies unit running in parallel:
-Practical Studies: develops your practical and conceptual skills
-Critical Studies: develops your understanding of the critical, historical and philosophical issues that underpin contemporary practice
-Professional Studies: prepares you to engage effectively with art as a professional enterprise
You are assessed in all three elements of the course
Career Prospects
Many of our graduates go on to study at MA level, particularly in progressing to the MA Fine Art course at Chelsea. Alternatively previous graduates have gone on to work with galleries, set up studio spaces or undertaken art-related careers.
Entry Requirements
-An Honours Degree, or equivalent academic/professional qualifications
-Applicants will also be asked to provide a written statement of intent and a selection of recent work
-EU/International students must show proof of equivalent qualification and IELTS 6.5 in English on enrolment
-The College takes into consideration prior learning, alternative qualifications and experience
