Course descriptionWith widespread undernutrition being seen in both developed and developing countries, coupled with rising rates of obesity and diet related chronic diseases, there is a need for well qualified professionals who can work at all levels in public health nutrition.
This Public Health Nutrition MSc degree course aims to:
* Equip students with specialist knowledge and practical skills to take an active role in public health nutrition in a range of settings both in the UK and overseas.
* Develop skills to appraise critically and to evaluate the research of both a scientific and social scientific nature on which public health nutrition practice is based.

* Nutrition for Public Health
* Nutrition, Health and Disease
* Public Health Nutrition Policy and Programmes, in addition to one optional module
MSc students also undertake an original research project.
