    Programme

    This programme is for students who are committed to a career in accounting. First year modules include Accounting 1, Business Environment, Business Communications for Accountants, Introduction to Business Computing, Law for Accountants and Quantatative Methods

    Second year core modules are Accounting 2 and Regulatory Framework of Accounting and options include Research Skills for Accounting and Finance, Introduction to Financial Management, Environmental Management and Auditing, Management Strategy, Managing the Development of Business Information Systems, Company Law for Accountants, Business Decision Techniques and Financial Management.

    Final year students cover further subjects such as Taxation, Auditing, Business Finance, Management and Organisational Development, Forensic Accounting, International Accounting and Public Sector Accounting.

    Accounting can also be studied as a Joint Honours Degree and combined with Business, Computing or Law. Finance can also be studied as a Joint Honours Degree with Business.
