  • Objectives
    This course is for students who wish to study one of our Automatic Control and Systems Engineering degrees, but have not studied maths and sciences to A2 Level. The course will bring your maths and sciences to the required level. On successful completion of the Foundation Year, you will be able to enter the first year of our mainstream degree courses.
  • Practical experience
    In year two you may take a semester at one of our partner departments abroad.
  • Entry requirements
    -GCE/VCE A Levels - BBB* -BTEC National Diploma - 2 Distinctions and 1 Merit* -Two GCE A Levels plus two GCE AS Levels - Typically BB+BB* -Irish Leaving Cert. - ABBBB* -International Baccalaureate - 32 points* -This represents the typical range. Each application will be judged on its own merit.
