    Programme

The course covers a wide range of image making closely related to graphic design practice including drawing, printmaking, visual problem solving and digitally-produced imagery.

In Year One, students identify their personal image-making preferences and strengths, while developing their creativity and illustrative techniques. Year's Two and Three concentrate increasingly on project work which further develops the ability to provide creative solutions to illustration briefs, sometimes through self-initiated work. Throughout the programme, students learn about the professional and industrial context for their practice, as well as the history of art and design practice.
