Entry requirements
Entry requirements: The minimum required is a Lower Second class honours degree, or the overseas equivalent, in a biological or medical science discipline, or in egyptology or archaeology. An applicant may also be accepted based on evidence of previous advanced study, research or professional experience which the University accepts as qualifying for entry.

Course description
Course description
This unique programme provides students with a practical and theoretical knowledge of biomedical research and techniques pertinent to Egyptology and related disciplines. Typical compulsory course units include Egyptology; Human Imaging; Tissue Preparation and Microscopy; Biomedical and Forensic Techniques; Workplace Communication Skills. Optional course units include Egyptology; Biomedical Theory and Techniques.
Progression and assessment
Assessment is through written examination, student presentations, written assignments, practical classes and a research project dissertation.
