Comments about BSc Biochemistry and Genetics - At the institution - Sheffield - South Yorkshire
Objectives
Biochemistry and genetics are complementary aspects of modern biology: biochemistry is the study of the molecular basis of life, and genetics is the study of heredity and variation in all organisms, from bacteria to humans. Genetic knowledge at the molecular level is crucial to many developments in medical science and the pharmaceutical and agricultural industries. In this Dual Honours degree course you will study biochemistry and genetics in an integrated way to a high level, alongside gaining a broad grounding in the other molecular biosciences.
